Marketing
Marketing is an important aspect of any business’ strategy. When marketing is done correctly, the product the company offers will not need extensive advertising. It is an ongoing process of planning and executing the marketing strategy for a product or service in an effort to create an exchange between individuals and organizations.
Marketing is typically seen as a creative industry. It includes advertising, distribution, and selling. It is also dedicated to anticipating the customers’ future needs and wants. These needs and wants are frequently discovered through market research.
In sum, marketing is the process of creating or directing an organization in a way that allows people to buy a product or receive a service that they not only want but also want to buy. Because of this, a good marketing scheme must create a proposition or set of benefits for the end consumer that delivers value through whatever they buy.
An organization that is market- or customer-focused must first figure out what its potential customers desire. Once this is determined, the company must build the product or create the service. The theory and practice of marketing is justified in the belief that customers use a product or service because they have a need or because the product provides a perceived benefit.
The two main parts of marketing are the recruitment of new customers, called acquisition, and the retention and expansion of relationships with existing customers, called base management. Once a marketer has converted a prospective buyer into a customer, base management marketing takes over.
